Tasting Note: Well structured, rich and polished Intense ruby red wine, with garnet reflections. The nose is broad and decisive, with dominant hints of red fruits, in particular of morello cherry, and spicy notes. On the palate, this wine offers dark cherry and blackberry fruit intermingles with spice and leather. It is rich, well balanced, with well-present but velvety tannins. Matured in French Oak barriques and Slovenian wood Casks for 36 months. Bottle ageing minimum 9 months. Brunello wine is allowed on the market 5 years after the harvest year.

The Scopone estate spans across 12 hectares of meticulously cultivated land, predominantly featuring Sangiovese vines, complemented by small plots of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Nestled on the slope facing Monte Amiata, the vineyards thrive in a hilly terrain with a gentle slope ranging from 6 to 10%. Rich in skeletal composition, the soil's active layer is modest compared to lower elevations, deriving its origin from the decomposition of rocks such as marl and alberese.
